D.C. Is Definitely on the Boards at This Year’s GRAMMYs

Next year’s 60th GRAMMY Awards looks like it might be a celebration for the D.C. area, mainly thanks in part to GoldLink, who’s Platinum-selling hit single “Crew” has officially earned a nomination for “Best Rap/Sung Performance.” Add to the fact that Shy Glizzy and Brent Faiyaz are collaborators on the track only sweetens the deal, regardless of whether they win an award or not.

That’s not all, either: Logic is also in the running for not one, but two nods — his powerful single “1-800-273-8255” (which features Alessia Cara and Khalid and titled after the National Suicide Prevention Hotline) will compete for “Song Of The Year” and “Best Music Video.”

In addition to the provided visuals, make sure to (if you haven’t already) check out both of GoldLink and Logic’s latest albums, At What Cost and Everybody (respectively)…you can also take a look at the full GRAMMY Awards nominations here.

For D.C., MD and VA — the evolution of our Hip-Hop is absolutely amazing.
