Tiger Party DC Debut August 23rd at The Dunes

On August 23rd when the stars are perfectly aligned, a force unlike any other known to man will assemble in Washington DC to bring the heat one last time before the autumn chill.

Blake’s Tiger Party is a rotating cast of all star musicians defying the laws of musical genres by blending their various talents in an awesome display of dance floor melting rhythm and groove.

The mastermind behind these Tiger Parties is none other than Blake Mobley. Blake is known for his work with Basshound, Damn Right! & the Psycho Killers but currently lends his expertise on keys to several projects in the Denver, Colorado area.

Joining Blake will be longtime Basshound buddies Nathan Graham and Bradley Richmond as well as guitarist extraordinaire, Jody Mosser.

Nathan Graham is currently keeping time on tour with the John K Band of Grateful Dead Fame but also finds time to participate in local DC bands playing drums for the bluesy Jamison and Double O Soul and pickin banjo in the bluegrass project Porchgrass.

Bradley Richmond can be found holding down the low end playing bass for local projects Basshound, DOOM Trio, and Choptank.

Rounding out the group is longtime friend and phenomenal guitarist, Jody Mosser, hailing from Frostburg, MD who can be seen with his act Flojo among many others.

Together these guys are sure to bring the house down, Columbia Heights may never be the same!

This time we’re expecting another monster of a show.  You can expect to see Basshound/Doom brothers in music Blake, Bradley, and Nathan join forces with Jody Mosser in their DC debut of the new Tiger Party project.  So far Tiger Party has been picking up steam in Colorado recently opening for the Legendary Bernie Worrell and releasing an intro track that was remixed by Tampa’s DJ Craig (UDNTPRTY).  Check it out!
