The up and coming American hip-hop/indie music Duo “Sonny Gabriel & Scott Free.” who blend a very vibrant and danceable mixture of East Coast hip-hop and electronic/indie rap.
Bio: “Sonny Gabriel & Scott Free” are a hip-hop/electronic music group native to Northern Virginia and the main act on the Dead Poet Productions label. Sonny Gabriel (T.Robinson Crowe) and Breeze (Scott “Free” Boastfield) create an animated and energetic mixture of East Coast hip-hop and electronic/indie rap. Sonny & Free have been working in the studio steadily for the past seven years and has accrued a solid fan base from mix tapes, gigs throughout the DMV, and the promotion of their album entitled “Notes from Underground” (available at http://deadpoetproductions.bigcartel.com/).
Sonny & Free. have performed in Washington D.C. and Virginia, at clubs, bars, and lounges (such as Ibiza Night Club, ZaZaa’s Lounge, Ball’s Bluff Tavern, PJ Skidoo’s, and they most recently headlined at Radford University’s “QuadFest”). They have also had their hit track entitled “One Night” played on 93.9 WKYS radio station.
Sonny & Scott Free perform hip-hop and electronic music with tangible, danceable, and relatable originals. Before and after performances, well-liked and upbeat electronic/top 40 songs are spun to entice spectators to cut a rug.
