One Love Massive is very happy to announce the addition of Esperonto Bean, choreographer & dancer, to the collective. Esperonto Bean has been a professional dancer and choreographer for over 12 years. He is well versed in many dance styles, including House, Hip-Hop and Punking/Waacking. Mentored by the legendary Fluky Luke and the late Fred “ReRun” Berry of the famed group “The Lockers,” Esperonto mastered the dance style Locking. His street credibility in the club scene led him to open for acclaimed artists such as Funk Master Flex, KRS1, Loon, Mix Master Mike, Dirty Vegas, CeCe Penniston, Barber Tucker and Robin S.
Esperonto has performed at legendary clubs such as The Sound Factory Bar in New York City, Club Zanzibar in New Jersey, Club Fantasys and The Paradox in Baltimore, Maryland. He has also performed as special guest with GroovMekanex Dance Crew for the internationally recognized Hip-Hop dance company Rennie Harris Pure Movement. He was a premiere performer and master class instructor at the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall at ArtScape, The White House Easter Egg Roll ‘09, Mason-Rhynes Black Expressions!!! Hip-Hop Festival, Earth Week on the National Mall, Dance Place, The Kennedy Center Millennium Stage, NBC-4 Fitness Expo, The Hippodrome, Musician Minds Magazine, and the Maryland Council for Dance and Theatre Project.
Additionally, he spent seven years as adjunct faculty at The Community College of Baltimore County, and has been a guest instructor and panelist at the University of Maryland’s “The Influence of Art in Hip-Hop” lecture and dance series. Esperonto is currently adjunct faculty at Howard Community College, where he teaches dance technique, as well as a lecture course in hip-hop history and culture. He is also the Director & Founder of Dimensions of Funk Youth and Adult dance companies.
