Cranksgiving DC Was A Success

With the help, love and the great city of DC, Cranksgiving 2017 exceeded last year’s numbers and was able to collect enough goods to feed over 90 families while providing food for nearly 150 people.

Cranksgiving DC is an annual scavenger hunt on Bikes, geared to collect food and other supplies needed to have a festive Thanksgiving meal, for the needy of the greater Washington DC area.

Mariams Kitchen has been our home for direct charitable contributions for the District, and longtime partnership and sponsor to the event, Bike to The Beach have helped create an event for a great cause.

Using local storefronts and organizations, such as HunnyBunny Boutique, Congress Heights Arts and Culture Center, Capital Vape Supply Shoppe, Senbeb Cafe & Market, Don Juan, Uptown Art House, U.S Beef, Fathom Customs, Uprising Muffins and Right Proper. We created a great way to bring the community together for the people who need it most.

Other major sponsors to Cranksgiving DC 2017 were MoBike USA and Giant Food on H st NE.

Next year, our goal is to feed over 100 families for Thanksgiving! Check out these amazing photos from this year’s Cranksgiving DC
